Effective Control Measures for Chili Disease Management

Chilli is the most widely cultivated crop in India. Its production is hindered by many diseases. Major diseases and their management are as follows:

Spray Ridomil Gold fungicide at 600 gm per acre or soil drenching with Indofil M45 at 3gm per Litre of water.

Damping Off

Spray Antracol at 1000gm per acre or Custodia at 240ml per acre or Roko fungicide at 0.5gm per Litre of water.

Die Back/ Anthracnose

Foliar spray with Saaf fungicide at 300gm per acre or Indofil M-45 at 600- 800gm per acre or Merger fungicide at 200 gm per acre.

Cercospora leaf spot

Soil drenching with Blitox fungicide at 2gm per litre of water or Katyayani Trichoderma viridae at 2.5% AS at 2 litres per acre.

Fusarium wilt

Foliar spray with Amistar at 200ml per Acre or Karathane Gold at 137ml per Acre or Roko fungicide at 0.5g per litre of water.

Powdery mildew

Foliar application of bactericide like Geomycin at 0.5-1g per litre of water or Bacto Raze at 2 ml per litre of water.
