DIY Garden Guardians: Natural Pesticides and Repellents

Homemade natural pesticides and repellents by using garlic, neem oil, can create effective solutions that are safe for your plants and the environment.

1. Garlic Spray

Blend 2 bulbs of garlic with 250 ml of water, strain and dilute it with more water. This repels insects like aphids and caterpillars.

2. Neem Oil Spray

Mix 2 teaspoons of neem oil with 1 teaspoon of mild soap in 250 ml of water. This is effective against a wide range of pests.

3. Vegetable Oil Spray

Mix 1 cup of oil with 1 tablespoon of mild soap, dilute 2 teaspoons of this in 250 ml of water. Effective against mites, and thrips.

4. Chili Pepper Spray

Blend 1 cup of fresh chili peppers with 250 ml of water, strain and dilute with more water. Effective against a variety of pests.

5. Soap Spray

Combine 1 tablespoon of dish soap with 250 ml of water, spray directly on pests. It's safe for most plants and effective on mites and thrips.
