4. Strain the cooled curd with layer of cheesecloth or muslin cloth
5. Gather the corners of the cloth and twist them together to squeeze out excess liquid
6. Place the wrapped paneer on a flat surface and shape it into a block or disc
7. Place the wrapped paneer block on a plate or tray and put a heavy object on top to press it
8. Once pressed, unwrap the paneer and cut it into cubes or slices as desired
9. Store paneer in the refrigerator in an airtight container filled with water for up to 3-4 days.
