High Powered Committee (HPC) finalizes and periodically amends the specifications of the crop residue management implements/machines and provides help in the implementation. The scheme is implemented by the central government and is available to farmers across the country. However, the scheme guidelines and eligibility criteria may differ from state to state depending on the state government’s policies.
