The Uttar Pradesh government started the “Praali Do – Khaad Lo” scheme for bringing down pollution and its negative effects. With the help of this scheme, the UP government intends to take the stubble from farmers and provide manure in exchange. It helps to improve the farmer’s condition. The stubble that gets accumulated from the farmers will get used as a fodder for the cowsheds. The remaining straw gets used to make into manure. The core objective of the scheme is to encourage not to burn the stubble to bring down the pollution level.

The farmers can apply for this scheme in the following steps:
Step 1 – To make the most of the scheme, the farmer needs to visit the nearest gaushala.
Step 2 – After that, they should get in touch with the officer who runs it.
Step 3 – The officer will ask for details like your name, address and mobile number.
Step 4 – After that, you will need to give them 2 trolleys of stubble.
Step 5 – The officer at the gaushala will give you cow dung manure totally free of cost.
Under the Praali Do – Khaad Lo Scheme the cow dung offered to the farmers can get used as a natural fertilizer. It will make the soil fertile and enhance the farm produce quality. It can also bring down the pollution level and enable the farmers to remove the stubble. As a result of better farm produce, the farmers can have better sales and increase their earning.
